Abstract
Considering Borrows’ words, the following tale from my latest book: A Mosaic of Indigenous Legal Thought: Legendary tales and other writings4 is also an attempt to grapple with global issues through an Indigenous legal method which uses the narra-tive to ensure a reflective approach. The tale – Skinned Alive5 – is an anthropomorphic tale set in a time of crisis in the Arctic. Both human and the seal population are in disarray.
