Abstract
One of the hallmarks of the Australian Curriculum English (Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority, 2024) is its focus on the grammar of visual design. Visual texts require new and complex reading-viewing practices that are significantly different to the knowledges and practices for reading worded text (Baker et al., 2023).
