A big thank-you to the Society’s Immediate Past President, Daniel Zeng of the Uni-versity of Arizona, USA, who completed his office duties at the end of December 2017. Under Daniel’s skilful leadership our Society achieved a number of milestones in-cluding the introduction of ITS-focused Educational activities, engagements with IEEE Standards, the growth in manuscripts submitted for publishing, local chapter developments, etc.
