Abstract

Reliability of Power supply timber pole depends on complex combinition of age, environmental factors involved in detoriaration process, and inspection and maintenance actions influencing reliability and safety. In this paper soil and human factors are identified, models have been developed and analysed for optimal maintenance decisions related to electrical power supply timber poles.
