Abstract
The increasing number of autistic learners of English as an additional language (EAL) at the college level has turned many mainstream EAL classrooms into inclusive classrooms. The increase, however, does not align with the available studies related to autistic EAL learners, especially at the college level. Moreover, research on the communication of autistic individuals in English as an Additional Language (EAL) contexts remains limited (Muharikah et al., 2022). Consequently, EAL practitioners have insufficient guidance on creating inclusive classrooms for autistic learners, specifically at the college level.
