Abstract
This chapter traces the intersections of creative arts and mobilities research to highlight the innovative methodological agendas that have emerged. It shows that increased enthusiasm for participatory, performative, hands-on and experiential modes of documenting and producing mobilities research have been heavily influenced by arts practices. Recent examples of creative projects and participatory outcomes from mobilities scholars, in addition to the author’s own practice-led projects, demonstrate that these applications have led to a distinctive set of mobilities methods which foster connections across scholars, communities and public audiences.
