This thesis presents a novel approach to the electrochemical synthesis of functional nanomaterials, aimed at bolstering photocatalytic hydrogen production. The research encompasses a strategic manipulation of graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4), synthesis of iron oxyhydroxide (FeOOH) nanostructures, and the creation of a heterojunction nanostructure by coupling g-C3N4 with a two-dimensional MXene (Ti3C2).
