Abstract
This article investigates the impact of flexible working conditions negotiated through enterprise bargaining on social relationships among workers. It explores how types of clauses in enterprise agreements may erode social relations both at, and beyond, workplaces in various ways, which may also intensify work. The study suggests that although the benefits of enterprise bargaining may enhance organisational performance, the extent and form of disruptions to social relations both within and outside the organisation is important for a balanced appraisal of enterprise bargaining.
