Abstract

The capital whisperers are a new breed of men and women identified by Wolfgang Streeck (Streek, 2017Streek, W. (2017). How will capitalism end? (p. 144). They may be employed by the financiers or their employees to legitimate financialization, (that is, the hegemony of financial institutions through private debt) as a dominant force in our era of capitalism.
