Abstract
This paper presents a novel Fourier based approach for recovering the transformation parameters of images that have been translated, globally scaled, rotated and stretched along an arbitrary vector. The proposed method first recovers the global rotation and scaling parameters. Then Hough based techniques are used for recovering the magnitude and orientation of the stretch vector. Theory, methodology and preliminary experimental results are presented.
