Abstract

Dr Michelle Ronksley-Pavia convened and led the Griffith University Gifted Education Symposium 2023, with this year’s theme of “Supporting Gifted Learners in the Classroom”. The 2023 event attracted over 200 attendees from across the globe. We also welcomed over 50 schools with more than 160 teachers attending, many of whom met as collaborative teams in school boardrooms and staff rooms: sharing a common purpose in learning more about supporting gifted students across their school settings. Other attendees included parents and caregivers, allied health professional, medical practitioners, university academics, and we also welcome over 20 preservice teachers to the Symposium.
