Abstract
Mostyn Bramley-Moore's paintings have always challenged viewers in that they paradoxically appear, within single works, to address quite different kinds of concerns. They can present as both abstract and narrative in nature, and also act simultaneously as personal visual diaries and arenas for philosophical debate. In this lecture, Professor Bramley-Moore will provide an overview of his paintings from a fifteen-year time span. He will talk about working from the landscape and about being part of the landscape.
