Abstract
Through growth to achievement is the most recent of a long succession of reviews into education in Australia. Commissioned by the Australian Government, the Review Panel – the second to be headed by David Gonski – was tasked with recommending ways that Australia could improve student achievement and school performance (Gonski et al., 2018). The Review identifies three priorities: (1) Deliver at least one year’s growth in learning for every student every year; (2) Equip every student to be a creative, connected and engaged learner in a rapidly changing world; and (3) Cultivate an adaptive, innovative and continuously improving education system.
