Abstract

Equitable and appropriate access to assistive technology (AT) that is safe, effective and affordable is a human right (United Nations, 2006; World Health Organization, 2022). The World Health Organization (WHO) in working towards the provision of AT globally, advocates and provides resources for countries to build person-centred AT ecosystems (World Health Organization, 2021).
