Abstract

Dear Sir, Boundary transgression and violation are part of all psychiatry trainees’ curriculum. To see how it is definitely not done can be educative. I report on yet another alarming misrepresentation of psychiatrists. Throughout the Millennium tripartite series1–3 Dr Peter Teleborian, a psychiatrist, is a very influential figure for the main character Lisbeth Salander. She is a child in care of the state who has suffered individual and systemic forms of several types of abuse. However, she has resilience: she strikes the viewer as highly creative, likely above average intelligence.
