Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the climate change debate in Australia over the last decade, in particular how changes in public perception over the last three years impact on climate change communication strategies. Six implications for climate change communication are drawn from the literature. These are then discussed in light of a current research study of The Climate Project Australia led by Al Gore and the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF).
