Abstract

The paper machine consists of several important sub processes and the coordination between them must be controlled carefully and for proper control, an appropriate model is required. Present paper attempts to perform modeling for headbox and its associated wet end systems with the help of fiber balance, ash balance, fines balance, filler balance and overall balance equations.
