It was June 2009 when the inaugural issue of the Magazine (Vol. 1, Number 1, Spring 2009) was printed and published. In his very first editorial, the then Editor-in-Chief, Christoph Stiller, communicated: “When I was nominated Editor-in-Chief of this magazine this January, much work had already been done by my predecessors. I thank Fei-Yue Wang who has been the magazine’s first Editor-in-Chief. He initiated the magazine and has procured the major content of this issue. I am happy to have him as guest editor. I also thank Charles Herget who served as an interim Editor-in-Chief. Based on his broad experience, he gave the magazine important direction. The editorial board is working to develop the magazine and introduce new sections that are of interest to our readers. We therefore are eager to learn your opinion and suggestions about it.”
