Abstract

This paper presents electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problems solved by computational electromagnetics and high performance computation modelling techniques. Since complex EMC problems are time-consuming to simulate and optimize, an integrated software system, named Virtual EMC (VEMC), is developed to minimise time and improve computing efficiency. This VEMC system combines multi-scale and parallel optimization technologies, and provides a high performance computing environment to design engineers. It also helps engineers predict EMC problems and meet EMC requirements.
