Abstract

This assessment has been undertaken to assist Mr. Roger John Parker, an EPA Victoria-appointed environmental auditor, to assess the likely consequences of the proposed phytocap substrate material changes on phytocap performance in accordance with the Vic EPA landfill BPEM. The specific aim is to determine if changing the phytocap substrate from 40mm quarry scalpings to either clay-rich overburden or basalt dust would positively or negatively impact phytocap performance.
