Abstract

In December 2020, the state, territory and Commonwealth education ministers commissioned an update of the national approved learning frameworks (ALFs) Belonging, Being & Becoming: The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia (EYLF) and My Time, Our Place: Framework for School Age Care in Australia (MTOP). In this article, Fay Hadley, Lennie Barblett, Linda J. Harrison, Susan Irvine, Jennifer Cartmel and Francis Bobongie-Harris outline some of the changes to the Frameworks and explain how services can begin to implement them.
