Abstract

In a very general but comprehensive definition, energy management defines as simultaneously efficient and effective use of energy to maximize profits while attempting to minimize costs to reinforce competitive positions (similar to the definition provided by Capehart et al. 2006). This broad definition covers numerous actions, operations, and even strategies from hardware design and supply to services.
