Abstract
The focus of the macroeconomic policy is often towards the short-run, implementing fiscal and monetary policies to minimise economic volatility by manipulating demand to counter unexpected demand and supply shocks. China's macroeconomic policy, on the other hand, is consciously aimed at both the short and long runs to influences the demand and supply sides of the economy simultaneously.
