Abstract
The period under review was again dominated by the politics of COVID-19, particularly vaccination rollouts, border closures, quarantine facilities, and economic recovery. However, despite its easy re-election only months before — largely on its management of the pandemic — the Palaszczuk government offered relatively little via legislative activity. While the government lost some of its lustre among voters demanding an end to COVID-19 restrictions, the Liberal-National Party (LNP) Opposition remained virtually invisible as the state's economic challenges grew.
