Abstract

As discussed in the chapter 14, the role of the dorsal intercarpal ligament (DIC) and dorsal radiocarpal ligament (DRC) in the maintenance of carpal stability is becoming increasingly recognized. Modern imaging and arthroscopic techniques enable the assessment and treatment of injuries to the dorsal capsular ligaments. In this chapter, we describe the RADICL (Repair/Augmentation of Dorsal Intercarpal Ligament) procedure, an arthroscopic or open repair of these critical wrist stabilisers.
