Abstract
We need … to develop ways of fostering a criminology that is more than a relatively passive witness to the destruction wrought by contemporary global forces - much less an accomplice - and instead vigorously steps up to take on the job of combating those forces and dedicating itself unapologetically to the reduction of needless pain, fear, and injustice around the world. That is the kind of criminology I want to be doing for as long as I’m capable of doing it. And the more people who join me, the happier I will be.
