Abstract
In this chapter, the landscape is examined as a cultural system related to multiplicities and coexistences (e.g., economics, culture, society, public policy) designed by the process of historical formation itself. For the viticultural landscape, the interpretation from the materiality of the viticultural territory highlights the importance of the cultural system. In this particular case, because of the tourist demand, it fosters its cultural and economic relevance. This kind of cultural system brings together a productive, effective, touristic, and economic bond, constructing meanings and real and symbolic structures that make up the wine territories.
