Abstract
‘This motorbike I ride, it will carry me for a future tomorrow’, says Edwin, a long-time motorcycle taxi driver and former child soldier in Monrovia, Liberia (14:10). These aspirations, revealed as being in tension with legacies of the past and challenges of the present, animate Jaremey McMullin’s short film Best Man Corner (2019).
