Abstract

This book is the last in the series of books written in the early 2000s that develops curriculum theory in the area of technology education. These books are the result of the research project Technology and Enterprise education in Russia (1996-2005) that was focused on conceptualising new approaches towards teaching and learning and developing new ways of developing school practice. Technology education: Year 7 book is the last one in the series. This book discusses specificities of approaches towards the project method in technology education for Year 7 school students in compulsory schooling. It includes an analysis of teaching strategies for project realisation in Year 7 and provides recommendations on the ways the learning process could be organised. It is designed for technology teachers, university students and academics in university education faculties, as well as for lecturers in in-service teacher training systems.
