Abstract
This chapter draws together the key themes, findings, and implications of the chapters in this volume. It makes connections vertically across the music cultures and horizontally across the five-domain framework. It then reflects on the dynamics of music sustainability and the scope for interventions. This leads to a model to approach musical ecosystems. The chapter concludes with concrete recommendations for facilitating practical, equitable strategies to assist communities to strengthen, on their own terms, the music practices they choose.
