Abstract

In this work, a multiple stub loaded patch antenna is presented which is designed by using flexible substrate material as Poly-Di-Methyl-Siloxane (PDMS). The antenna offers a small size of 15 mm x 25 mm with simplified structural geometry. The antenna performance parameters have been analyzed and are compared with recently published designs. Results show that the proposed design exhibits ultra- wideband response and offers high gain up to 6.6 dBi, which is achieved by loading multiple stubs to the CPW feed resonator. The presented design is suitable for future wireless body area networks (WBAN).
