Titled, Pillar to Post, the theme of the exhibition focuses on the similarities and differences of artistic approaches via each artist’s particular responses to the external surrounds in which they are displayed. The works represent varying expressive art forms including digital video, computer and photo media, painting, sculpture, printmaking and installation.

Themes of modernism, recognition, social media, isolation, gaming and feminism are explored through the personal views of the artists. Many works deploy humour, humour that may be critical, satirical, absurd, awry, self-referential, abstract or figurative, or unerringly subtle to the point of invisibility.
