Abstract
Three species of pycnogonids are reported for the southwestern region of Santa Marta in the Colombian Caribbean. Nymphon surinamense, Anoplodactylus insignis and Pallenopsis schmitti were collected in trawls on soft bottoms between 14 and 60 m depth. This report expands the geographic distribution of N. surinamense and A. insignis in the Caribbean and highlights the abundance of P. schmitti in the area. The distribution and systematics of the species is briefly discussed and illustrations are presented for each of them.
