This paper discusses the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum, making a few comparisons with the European Union (EU) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), then comments on the employment relations context in selected APEC member economies: Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, China and Indonesia.
