Abstract
Background: Elisabeth Kübler-Ross has a quote about beautiful people. Objectives: To explore how beautiful people may be made in psychiatry. Methods: A group of psychiatrists from a wide range of experience and background will share their stories and challenges from both their personal and professional lives. Findings: Despite the challenges that the field throws to us, we persevere and push on. Conclusion: In psychiatry, just like in life, beautiful people do not just happen.
